Earn Points

Do you know of anyone who doesn’t like free stuff? We are pretty sure that no matter where you go, you can find someone who has a hankering for giveaways. That’s why we have come up with a new way for you to take home free gear. Our new point system will allow you to get off the sideline and get in game. You can have a whole heap of fun and the best part is that the more points you accumulate, the more merchandise you’ll be able to take home for free.

There are a number of different ways for you to get involved in the points system, each of them having a different level of involvement.

Refer-a-Friend

As a part of this community, we want you to invite your friends, if you have any. We won’t just ask you to do this, though, because who likes to work for free? We’ll offer your 2 points for each friend you refer to our site. In addition to that, every 10 posts on the message board will earn you an additional 2 points. This is a really nice way to add up the points and take home some merchandise for our few visitors who actually have friends!

Question of the Day

Every day you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge in question format. The idea is pretty simple. When you visit the site, you will see the “Question of the Day” option. Upon opening up your question, you will have exactly 10 seconds to answer. If you are able to answer during that time, you will receive 1 point. This is an awesome way to gain points for our visitors who are blessed with superior brain power. You can do it once per day, so 365 points are out there for the taking if you are good.

Lottery

Who doesn’t love the lottery? Unfortunately, there is no million dollar prize waiting at the end of this one. Instead, you will win points that can be redeemed for great merchandise. That’s almost as good as money, right?

The idea behind the lottery is pretty simple, especially for those of you who have played a lottery before. You will choose a number 1-60 on six different lottery cards. We will then have a random drawing, and you will be awarded points based upon how many numbers you get right. If you have 1 number right, then you won’t win anything. Two correct numbers nets you 2 points. If you happen to hit 3 numbers, then you can claim 5 points. Four numbers picked correctly will earn 15 points. If you happen to hit 5 numbers, then you will receive 50 points.

Six numbers correct is a completely different animal. That’s the jackpot! Each day that no one wins, 2 points will be added to the jackpot. When finally someone hits all 6 numbers, they will take home whatever is in this jackpot. This number could potentially get huge, which means we might have to re-stock our merchandise area for your visit!

Coin Flip

It’s not quite as exciting as the lottery, but what can you do? At least you have a chance to flip a coin every day. You know how it works. Heads or tails? If you pick the right one, you get 1 point. This happens once per day, so you have a shot to take home plenty of points during the course of a year.

All in all, there are lots of different ways to add up points. If you come back every day, you can really rack up and take advantage of some of our great merchandise. This is just another way that we are building the community and trying to include our visitors in what we have going on.
